Mike Winsemann oversees all of BCCAT's technology and marketing initiatives. He is responsible for the day to day management of the BC Transfer Guide, the BCCAT website, and is the director and architect of BCCAT's Transfer Credit Evaluation System, which is being used as a model for the development of similar articulation technologies across Canada. In January, 2016, Mike assumed responsibility for providing leadership and technological direction over the EducationPlannerBC project, which oversees the development of a common application platform, including the post-secondary transcript exchange, for the Province of BC. Mike returned to BCCAT full time in 2018 in the role of Director, Transfer & Technology. He is a highly regarded and frequent presenter on best practices in technology, student mobility, and higher education. He has been with BCCAT since 2004 and has a Bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia and Masters degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University. He was the recipient of the Royal Roads University Founders Award for having best exemplified the qualities of leadership, sustainability, and personal development amongst his graduating cohort.
