Enabling the BC Transfer System: Results and Implementation
Over the past year the BC Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT) embarked upon a consultation titled “Enabling the BC Transfer System”. The purpose of the consultation was to gather feedback on BCCAT’s proposal to enable all institutions to perform sending and receiving functions within the BC Transfer System. Several flexible options were examined that would let institutions determine the size and scope of the role they could choose to assume within the BC Transfer System. The actions outlined in the recommendations have been reviewed and approved by the Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT) on March 2, 2012.
Over the coming weeks, BCCAT will be adding content to this site to help address questions about the implementation. The following documents outline the results of the consultation and the recommendations endorsed by BCCAT's Council.
