Many people inside BCCAT and in the larger post-secondary system have contributed their advice, wisdom, and expertise to this handbook. The first edition of How to Articulate was written in 2005 by Finola Finlay, BCCAT Associate Director, Transfer and Articulation, with Valerie Yorkston as project manager. They were ably assisted by an Editorial/Advisory Committee and other members of BCCAT staff.
The revision involved updating sections with new material, removing examples that were no longer current, and reviewing the original language for clarity given the changing nature of the BC Transfer System. Re-writing was done by Fiona McQuarrie and general editing coordinated by John FitzGibbon, project coordination by Christi Garneau, with contributions from Rob Fleming. Valerie Yorkston managed the design and publication process for the pdf version, and Mike Winsemann managed the process of adapting the Handbook to the BCCAT Information Centre on the BCCAT website.
A group of individuals that participate in the operation of the BC Transfer System volunteered to serve as the Editorial/Advisory Committee for this revision. The Committee reviewed the original work carefully, suggested appropriate changes, and reviewed the revised edition for publication, and provided feedback on the type of web-based information centre that would be appropriate for this material. The Committee also contributed a number of internal documents as examples of current procedures within their institutions. Thanks also to Robert Campbell, Dean of Arts and Science, Capilano University and Costa Karavas, Instructor, Mathematics Department, Vancouver Community College who acted as external reviewers of the final draft.
