Employment Opportunity: Manager, Technology Services

The BC Council on Admissions and Transfer is offering a continuing, full-time appointment as Manager, Technology Services.

This position reports to the Director, Transfer & Technology and assumes responsibility for managing technology initiatives and services for BCCAT. Specific responsibilities include acting as project manager for development of BCCAT’s technology initiatives, including management of BCCAT’s Transfer Credit System (TCS) and the BCCAT websites.  The Manager, Technology Services is responsible for onboarding institutions to BCCAT technologies, systems development, user acceptance training, data analytics, and working with stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance and grow BCCAT’s technology initiatives. 

The successful applicant will have strong technical understanding of BCCAT technologies, experience in project management, and have a strong background in transfer and articulation processes.


The successful applicant will have at minimum:

  • completion of Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in a relevant field;

  • a minimum of five years of administrative leadership and supervisory experience in post-secondary education, preferably within a BC post-secondary institution, government agency, or Provincial Ministry;

  • a comprehensive understanding of BC’s post-secondary system and a thorough appreciation of the articulation and transfer environment;

  • demonstrated capability to develop and manage large-scale technology initiatives at either an institutional or provincial/national level;

  • exceptional abilities in written and oral communication, project management, fiscal administration and computer applications; and,

  • excellent presentation, facilitation, and diplomacy skills.
