Christina Clapperton, Research and Policy Assistant

Christina Clapperton is a coop student currently working in the temporary position of Research and Policy Assistant for BCCAT.

This role involves assisting the Transfer and Articulation division conducting research and writing on emerging issues in higher education in relation to transfer and articulation, focusing on a degree partnership database.

Christina holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg and is currently in post-baccalaureate studies in education at Simon Fraser University. In addition to work as a vocational rehabilitation consultant, she has conducted educational research and facilitated the negotiation and coordination of retraining programs. Since returning to school in the fall of 2010, Christina has conducted literature reviews as a research assistant and co-authored an article for submission to peer-reviewed journals. She is also a published creative writer with three short stories and an excerpt of a novel to her credit.
